The Contract Killers — Made Men Puttin' Out Hits!

The Contract Killers are a group of renegade breakbeat producers coming out of Florida & Georgia. This soon to be infamous gang of criminals are known individually as Auditory Groove, DJ ONyX, K–Funk, and DJ MadScratch. Members of The Contract Killers first popped on the radar in the mid-90's, and they have been blowing up night clubs, late night parties, and production studios ever since.

Past club affiliations have included Ozone (Tampa, FL), The Masquerade (Ybor City, FL), The Studio AKA AV02 (Tampa, FL), and Club Manhattan (Port Richey, FL). If you see The Contract Killers, DO NOT attempt to apprehend them...they are armed with funk and EXTREMELY dangerous. They have made a pact to put out hits on all breakbeat DJ's so beware!

Auditory Groove

Auditory Groove (Jason Gatto) has been involved in many aspects of the electronic music scene since 1994. As a DJ, Jason is best known for his funky/electro style and ruthless scratching skills which have allowed him to tear up much of the east coast of the US. Currently producing under the name Auditory Groove, he co-founded UFO (United Funk Organization) Recordings and The Contract Killers in 2008.

Jason is currently working on The Contract Killers' debut album and will be releasing individual tracks on popular music download sites soon.

K–Funk

K-Funk (Kevin Stanton) has been the backbone of UFO Recordings since its inception in 2008. He single-handedly built and optimized our website to the #1 spot on all 3 major search engines, has been a driving force behind music production, signed new talent to the label, and played the lead role in helping UFO Recordings get off the ground.

K-Funk has been involved in the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) scene since 1999. Be on the lookout for this multi-threat!

DJ ONyX

Tampa native DJ ONyX (Mike McVittie) became involved in the EDM scene back in 1994 doing security and helping promote for legendary Tampa clubs such as Parthenon and Ozone, and instantly fell in love with the music. Mike started Velocity Productions in 1997 and began dj'ing in 1999. He has been a fixture in night clubs and at house parties ever since.

Dedicated to bringing back the old school vibe and breakbeat sound, DJ ONyX helped co-found The Contract Killers and UFO Recordings in 2008.

DJ MadScratch

Scratch maniac DJ MadScratch (Jerry Patterson) has been annihilating wax for over 15 years. His journey started in the old school hip-hop scene of the late 80's and transitioned to the breakbeat scene in the early 90's. MadScratch's undisputed cutting, scratching, and transforming skills have gained him recognition and respect in Georgia and throughout the southeast.

Jerry has produced over 30 tracks (released and unreleased) under NastyScratch Records, a label he formed back in 2000. He also helped found UFO Recordings in 2008. Keep your ears open, because DJ MadScratch is a force to be reckoned with!

DJ Structure

DJ Structure (Steve Dunn) is the newest member of the UFO Recordings family. He started spinning in 1987 in Boston and has since moved south to Georgia. Structure started Foe Pound Productions in 1999 and was the 2001 Georgia State breakbeat champion. Steve's dirty, grungy house and breakbeat sets have gained popularity over the years and allowed him to become a recognized name in the EDM scene.

DJ Structure has had the pleasure of opening up for DJ's and producers such as Tiesto, DJ Icey, Paul Oakenfold, and Armin Van Buuren and is looking forward to upcoming projects for UFO Recordings.
